Simple Meal Ideas for 1 Year-Old’s

I know it can be challenging trying to come up with new and healthy food ideas for your little ones to enjoy. Here are some that my little guy enjoys and hopefully yours will too. To make it easier, I’ve categorized the foods based on mealtime but they can be switched around as you desire.

Breakfast Ideas:
– Toast with Jelly (and/or Peanut Butter)
– Oatmeal (with or without fruit)
– Muffin
– Cut Fruit (Blueberries, Strawberries, Bananas, Mangos, etc.)
– Cottage Cheese
– Baby Cereal
– Pancake with Jelly

Snack Ideas:
– Yogurt Pouch
– Fruit Puree
– Shredded Cheese
– Fruit (Pears, Peaches, Melons)
– Broccoli and Cheese Tater Tots
– Mashed Beans
– Hummus with Pita Bread cut in bite-size pieces

Lunch/Dinner Ideas:
– Pesto Chicken with Pasta
– Veggies (Steamed Broccoli, Carrots)
– Toast with Cheese
– Mashed Potatoes/Sweet Potatoes
– Shredded Chicken/Beef with Rice
– Chicken with Sauteed Spinach
– Veggie/Chicken Nuggets
– Rice with Lentils
