Traveling During The Pandemic? Here’s What You Need To Take
Throughout this pandemic, we have been pretty wary of taking any trips. It’s just one of those things that we didn’t unnecessarily want to risk ourselves with, but now that the vaccine has rolled out and cases have started to go down, we finally decided to go on a little getaway. Since things aren’t 100% yet, I still want to take precautions and pack some additional items to keep ourselves safe.
If you and your family are taking a trip anytime soon, you should check out the list below to make sure you are prepared.
Masks/Hand Sanitizer
Be sure to carry extra masks just in case you need them.
Cleaning Supplies
Some of the cleaning supplies that I like to take are Lysol disinfecting spray, Clorox Wipes, WetOnes, and handsoap.
Bedsheets, Blankets, Pillows
I like taking my own if I can. I always have the unfortunate luck of finding hairs on the bedsheets at hotels.
Paper Goods or Reusable Products
I like taking reusable water bottles and items so I don’t create a lot of waste.
Towels
This is one thing I always take with me. I just don’t like using hotel towels.
Medications
I like having this just in case we need it. I keep it stocked up with some Tylenol, cough drops, cold medication for both adults and kids as well as some children’s cough syrup and Vicks.
Toys/Books for Kids
This is important so you can keep your kids busy during your stay. I like taking toys that don’t have too many pieces so I don’t have to spend a lot of time trying to find everything before we leave.
Slippers
I like having these, especially at hotels because I’m not sure how clean the floor is.
Humidifier
Especially useful if you are traveling somewhere cold and are planning on using the heater. The heater tends to dry out the air and can make your throat feel dry, which can make you more susceptible to getting sick.
Bonus tip: Vacuum bag bulky items such as the pillow, blanket, and bedsheets to save space in your bag.
Let me know below if there is something else that you take with you that I didn’t mention and, don’t forget to save this post so you can refer back to it whenever you need it.
Sincerely,
